Stampin' Addicts - Last Chance Blog Hop!

 

Stampin' Addicts is at it again! Starting tomorrow at noon eastern time, 28 of us addicts will be spotlighting soon to be retired stamp sets. The hop will run until midnight pacific time on Sunday, so be sure to set some time aside to ride along. No matter where you start on the hop, you'll just follow the links and eventually end up back here. That's when you'll know you've seen it all...and can make your call to your demonstrator to order the sets you don't want to let get away! If you don't have a demonstrator of your own...feel free to drop me a line!!

The set I will be highlighting is the Only Ovals set...I love any set that coordinates with punches...and this set is all about the Large Oval punch!! Come back tomorrow to see what I've come up with!

I'm also attaching a picture here so that you can see what I've been up to lately...and what's kept me away from my stamps a bit too much!!!

Hubby and I bought a boat last month...now we're heading off to a lake every weekend it seems!!! It's a blast...and the weather's been perfect. We are lucky here that we have several lakes to choose from...

Been a While!!!

But, I'm back...and with another great Stampin' Addicts Blog Hop! I'm thankful for the SA group and their hoppin', as it is the motivation I needed to pay some long needed attention to this poor neglected blog of mine.

Sale-a-Bration Blog Hop

This year Stampin' Up! did the coolest thing, instead of just the items in the Sale-a-Bration brochure to pick from for your free item...you can also pick from a bunch of selected stamp sets in the main catalog! I'm highlighting the very useful Thank You Kindly set.

 

My fist project is a set of Very Vanilla 3x3 cards...this came together very quickly and easily! I like to punch a hole in the upper left corner, string some ribbon thru it to attach to a thank you gift!

 Here I used the With All My Heart stamp set and the Sending Love specialty DSP from the Occasions Mini. I also used some Pretty in Pink taffeta ribbon. You can get 8 3x3 cards from one sheet of 12x12 cardstock.

My second project is another set of cards, this time I used Stampin' Up!'s notecards. They come already scored and with the matching envelops...these make nice gift sets! The package contains 20 cards/envies!

I used in colors here, as well as several sizzix embosslits. I really like those things!!! I also used my big shot to emboss the card with the new Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder that is available in the Occasions Mini.

My last project to show you is the tin in which you can package the Note Cards gift set! Of course, you can pretty much put in anything you want in the tin (that fits!). Candy, jewelery...etc...

Good Monday Morning!!

Wow, first Monday back after all the holidays...and time off from work! Now, it's back to work full-time...but, I am thankful I have a job, that's for sure! Hope you all had a great Holiday season.

On the right hand side of my blog, I've added buttons to all the new catalogs that start tomorrow!
